Your photos stay yours.

This is the privacy policy for the Week in Pix app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and for this website.

The short version. Week in Pix doesn’t collect your data. There are no accounts, no uploads, no analytics and no tracking. Your photos are read and processed on your device, and they stay there.

Your photos

Week in Pix reads photos from your Photos library only after you allow access. The system permission prompt appears when you tap Allow Access on the welcome screen, not before.

  • Choosing photos, cropping, zooming and building a collage all happen on your device.
  • Search recognises what’s in your photos, such as dogs, food or beach, on your device and only when you search. Nothing is uploaded for recognition.
  • If you choose Limited access on iPhone or iPad, the app sees only the photos you’ve shared with it. You can change this at any time with Manage Shared Photos.
  • Browse Library (called Library on iPhone and iPad) opens Apple’s system Photos picker. The app receives only the photos you pick.
  • Removing a photo from a collage, or clearing a collage, never deletes it from your library.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it makes no network connections of its own. It doesn’t send your photos, collages, search terms or settings to the developer or to anyone else.

The app keeps a few settings, such as your appearance choice and reminder schedule, in its own storage on your device. They’re removed when you delete the app.

Exporting and sharing

A collage leaves your device only when you choose to save or share it. You decide where it goes: Photos, Files, or any app on the share sheet. Once you share a collage, that app’s or person’s own privacy practices apply.

Weekly reminders

The optional weekly reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device at the day and time you choose. It needs your permission to show notifications, and it uses no server.

Pro purchase

Week in Pix Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment and restores your purchases, and Apple’s privacy policy applies to that. The app doesn’t receive your payment details.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts. Its fonts and images are served from the site itself.

  • The Auto-pick and Layout buttons on the home page run in your browser, using sample stock photos. The site never asks for access to your photo library.
  • The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical connection data, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the service.

Children

Because the app collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.

Your choices

  • Change or withdraw photo access in your device’s Settings (iOS and iPadOS) or System Settings (macOS), under Privacy & Security ▸ Photos.
  • Turn reminders off in the app’s Settings, or in your device’s notification settings.
  • Delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever adds analytics, crash reporting or any server feature, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before that version is released.
